Our “host hotel”, the historic Partridge Inn, will provide its guests a free shuttle to/from the Ball.

Grand Ball and Bazaar

Friday, Feburary , 2009

at the Columbia Relic Room

The Grand Ball and Bazaar will be held Friday, February 2009 from 8-11 p.m. in the Congaree Room of the SC State Museum in Columbia, SC.  The ball is part of "Columbia's Longest Days: February 1865," a weekend-long event, sponsored by the Greater Columbia Civil War Alliance, commemorating General Sherman's march to Columbia and the burning of the city.  The 2009 ball will follow the same model as the 1865 ball, adding a live band playing period music.  Music and dance calling will be provided by UnReconstructed, and refreshments will be provided. Tickets are $45 per couple and $25 per individual.  Tickets must be ordered in advance. For more information, please contact Liz Jenkins at (803)217-0071 or gccwa@knappagency.com.
