Palmetto Soldiers Relief Society

The Palmetto Soldiers Relief Society is an organization that promotes Southern heritage and history.  We work to educate the public by portaying as accurately as possible, women of the war between the states period, their fashions and life-syles. Our ladies come from all parts of South Carolina and represent a wealth of different reenacting units. We have a seasonal newsletter that has articles about period historic events, clothing exhibits, review of patterns, and information on up-coming events of interest. The organization hosts sewing workshops, period tea parties and sponsor a variety of worth causes.
